No two days are ever the same in our classroom and we view our learning as an adventure that should be explored and enjoyed. The staff work very hard to ensure that all the needs of each individual pupil is met and that they have the opportunity to achieve and learn in an environment that is tailored to their very individual and specific needs.

The children in our class are very much part of the Dolittle team and their ideas and suggestions as to the best methods of teaching are always valued and considered by the staff, we like the children to have ownership of their learning and promote an open and enthusiastic approach within the classroom.

The staff use many different styles of teaching to bring out the best in the pupils, the creative curriculum that we base their learning experiences around lets the children develop not only at their own rate but also in a manner that they can enjoy and achieve in.

Whilst academic improvement is important we certainly try to educate the children with a holistic approach and their learning experiences include outdoor education and adventure activities including lots of interesting art and craft projects.

We make sure all of the childrens work, efforts and achievements are celebrated.
